Current positions:

• Chairman of the Black Horse Poets, Wakefield’s longest established poetry group which meets monthly for workshops and regularly publishes The Horse’s Mouth, a magazine of poetry and poetry related articles.

• Founder of the Mocca Moocho Poetry group, a weekly poetry group for reading, writing and enjoying poetry. First collection, There’s a Place I Know published in May 2010.

• Co-organiser of the Red Shed Readings. Wakefield’s liveliest spoken word event which attracts established figures such as David Peace, Sophie Hannah and Ian Clayton but also promotes local talent in support and open mic slots.
